The master plan covers 17 square kilometres, with more than 20 kilometres of beaches and over 80 planned resorts and hotels. Between 1 January and 7 October 2026, 3,309 homes were sold on Dubai Islands, almost all off-plan, at a median price of AED 2.86M or AED 2,809 per sq ft; one-bedroom apartments sold at a median of AED 2.40M and two-bedrooms at AED 3.54M. The first completed buildings are only now being let: 10 rent contracts were registered this year, at a median of AED 130,000 a year, which puts the early gross yield at about 3.5% before service charges.
